The Volvo FH Aero Electric has a payload of 23.8 tonnes and a range of up to 400 km, depending on the type of operation. It is equipped with six batteries with a total weight of 3,000 kg and a maximum battery capacity of 540 kWh. Consumption is around 1 kWh per kilometre. Thanks to the exemption from the performance-related heavy vehicle charge until 2030, it is possible to amortise the high investment costs of CHF 472,000.
To increase road safety, our driver has been specially trained to use the battery-powered lorry. He benefits from a modern camera system that ensures complete all-round visibility and minimises blind spots. This innovative technology makes a significant contribution to road safety and enables even more efficient and comfortable handling of the vehicle.
